Zyuranger Actor Takumi Hashimoto to Attend Lexington Comic-Con

Zyuranger Boi

Lexington Comic & Toy Convention announced today that Takumi Hashimoto, the actor who played Tiger Ranger Boi in Kyoryu Sentai Zyuranger, will attend this year’s event.

Takumi got his start as child actor as Manabu Yamashi in Sekai Ninja Sen Jiraiya in 1988. He would go on to appear in an episode of Kidou Keiji Jiban before landing his most recognizable role as the energetic Daim Tribe knight in Zyuranger. Takumi reprised his role in the 2014 Sentai team-up film, Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger vs Go-Busters, where he lent his voice to his suit alter-ego along with three of his fellow Zyuranger actors.

Takumi’s appearance at the Lexington Comic-Con will be his first appearance at an American convention. He will be joined by Pteraranger Mei’s actor Reiko Chiba, who will also be attending her first American convention, as well as Tyrannoranger Geki actor Yuuta Mochizuki, who will be making his second American convention appearance after Power Morphicon 4. Several Power Rangers alumni including Catherine Sutherland, David Yost, Barbara Goodson, Paul Schrier, Jason Narvy, Walter Jones, and Austin St John will also attend Lexington Comic-Con. Also in attendance will be Bin Furuya, the suit actor of Ultraman in the original 1966 TV series and Amagi in Ultraseven.

The Lexington Comic & Toy Convention will be held March 13-15th in Lexington, Kentucky.
