Ultraman 80 Now Streaming on Crunchyroll

U80

Ultraman 80 joins Max, Mebiusand Leo as the latest Ultra show to stream on Crunchyroll.

Ultraman 80, the ninth Ultra series, is the latest toku in Crunchyroll’s ever expanding roster. Released in 1980, the show follows the titular hero as he adopts the human guise of teacher Takeshi Yamato. Yamato comes up with the theory that kaiju are created by negative human emotions, known as Minus Energy. He defends the Earth five years after the end of Ultraman Leo’s exploits, and is later joined by fellow Ultra, Yullian.

Ultraman 80 has the same release schedule as the previous series on Crunchyroll. All 50 episodes are available to premium users, and free users get access to the first ten today, then ten more weekly. Both Max and Mebius are entirely available to free users now, and Leo’s last batch will unlock tomorrow.
