Evangelion’s Neko Oikawa to Write Ninninger Opening

A posting via Amazon JP has revealed the artists who will perform the opening and ending themes for the upcoming Shuriken Sentai Ninninger.


Yohei Onishi will perform the Ninninger opening theme, “Now, go! Ninninger!”. Onishi previously performed ToQ-6’s theme song in the current Super Sentai series, Ressha Sentai ToQger. Former Infix (Victory Gundam) guitarist Akira Sato will compose the song while Neko Oikawa, lyricist for Neon Genesis Evangelion‘s opening theme “A Cruel Angel’s Thesis” will write the lyrics. Oikawa previously wrote the lyrics to 2007’s Juuken Sentai Gekiranger opening theme.

Daiki Ise, who performed the opening theme to ToQger, will perform the ending theme “Nan Ja Mon Ja! Ninja Festival!” while J-pop duo Funta7 will arrange the song.

The tracklist for the CD Single contains the following:

1. Now, go! Nininger!
2. Nan Ja Mon Ja! Ninja Festival!
3. Now, go! Nininger! (instrumental)
4. Nan Ja Mon Ja! Ninja Festival! (instrumental)

The Shuriken Sentai Ninninger opening/ending CD single will go on sale March 18th, 2015 for 1,296 yen.
