Third Trailer for Godzilla PS3 Game Released

Godzilla ps3-a A new trailer for the PS3 game, Godzilla, showcases new gameplay features as well as footage.

The new Godzilla game being developed and published by Bandai Namco Games will commemorate the 60th anniversary of the iconic character. Players will take control of Godzilla as they cause havoc from city to city.

Here is a translation of the trailer above:

Take control of Godzilla, and wreak havoc on human civilization!
Witness the true scale of kaiju via the camera angles!
See the destruction as explosions erupt and sparks scatter!
Tokusatsu is reborn with the latest technology!
Destroy the energy sources within the stages. The more Godzilla destroys, the more enormous his power grows! The more you destroy, the more your “Catastrophe Level” builds, and the greater humanity’s resistance against Godzilla!
The conflict between Godzilla and humanity is about to begin!
And, on top of that… the destined rivals of Godzilla arise!

Godzilla will go up against many of his foes from throughout the franchise. Players will be able to do battle against all three iterations of MechaGodzilla along with Mothra, Jet Jaguar, Hedorah, King Ghidorah and Destroyah. Godzilla will also be able to transform into Burning Godzilla in addition to being able to play as Godzilla from the 2014 Legendary film.

Exclusive items will be available for those who pre-order. There is a chance to either reserve a special edition copy that includes a reprint of the Heat Up Godzilla figure or a first edition exclusive code to unlock Legendary’s Godzilla. Godzilla will be released on the PS3 on December 18, 2014.
